Why not just turn the water back on yourself?
You can. But a system that sat through an Indiana winter can hide problems: a head cracked by frost, a line that split, a valve that sticks. Opening the main valve all at once also sends a surge of pressure through lines that have been empty for months. A startup brings the system back slowly and checks that it works, zone by zone.

How does a sprinkler startup work?
We bring the water back slowly
The water is turned back on and the system is brought up to pressure gradually, instead of all at once.
We run every zone
Each zone is turned on so we can see that it comes on, that the heads pop up and that the water goes where it should.
We flag what's broken
A cracked head or a zone that won't come on gets pointed out, so it can be repaired before you need it.
Which packages include startup?
All three. Basic, Preferred and Premium each start the season with a sprinkler system startup.

Everything in Basic, plus a sprinkler system audit once a year: heads adjusted, valves checked and the system tuned so it runs properly.

✓ Backflow testing
✓ Winterization
Premium
A checkup three times a year.
Everything in Preferred, with the sprinkler system audit done three times a year instead of once.

Repairs aren't part of any package. Broken heads, leaks, valves and controllers are priced by the job.

What does a startup cost?
Startup comes with every irrigation package, so your price depends on the package you choose and your system. Send your address and a little about your system and we'll call you with a price.
