Indiana Lawn Care Questions, Answered Honestly

Everything people ask us before they hire anyone, including the questions that don't end with a sale. Start wherever your question is.

What does lawn care cost?

For a 3,000 sq. ft. lawn on a 12-month plan, our packages start at $41, $61 and $93 a month. Lawn size moves the number most. The pricing page shows every line item; the blog post goes into what you should get for the money.

Should I do it myself or hire someone?

DIY gives you control over products and timing, and it costs your weekends plus the learning curve on rates, weather and timing. A professional program gives you a schedule, the right products for local soil, and someone to call when something looks wrong. Neither replaces mowing and watering. Add up a full season of product and your time before deciding.

Why isn't my lawn getting better?

A brown patch isn't a diagnosis. Drought, grubs, disease and dog spots all look alike from the porch. Before buying another product, think about what changed: weather, watering, traffic, or a spot that's spreading. Send photos and the timing with your quote request and we'll tell you what we think it is, even if the answer is "wait for rain."

The questions we get every week

How often will you treat my lawn?

Every 4 to 6 weeks, March through November. Call the office if something looks wrong between visits; service calls are free.

When can kids and pets go back on the lawn?

Once a liquid treatment is dry, usually 1 to 2 hours. The technician's note will say what was applied.
